MedChannels Licenses Technology from VitaMed

LAS VEGAS, NV, Feb. 09, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MedChannels, a state of Ohio limited liability corporation, has entered into a private labeling agreement with VitaMed for a small, home-based, automated medication dispensing product.

The product will be launched under MedChannels' StatMed line, with an additional designation as a Personal Care Unit ("[pcu]"). Specific terms of the product licensing deal were not disclosed, although they are expected to include a combination of paid upfront fees and a percentage of sales as royalty.
